A collection of antique French legal documents. Also black and white engravings, an antique menu, a religious card, and a photograph for use in collage and other decorative purposes.
Most of the papers date from the 1800’s. One or two might be earlier. The largest piece measures 31 x 20 cms. One is 33 pages long but most are just a page of script or just a few folded pages. The papers are hand made and all different. One is vellum. Some are bills of sale. I have tried to provide a variety of colours and textures to provide interest. The engravings of flowers are faint and on very delicate paper.
Condition: Very Good. A I hope you can see from the pictures the papers are marked stained, creased, folded and torn as is to be expected given their age. The engravings are quite clean.The Christmas Card is creased.
