Black flowers with red leaves on a white ground striped with pale blue.
Dated August 1838.
The design has been backed onto paper, then fixed onto an antique paper surround.
Size of design: 12.8 x 15.6 cms or 5 x 6 1/4 inches.
Size of surround: 24 x 28.5 cms or 9 x 11 1/4 inches.
Condition: The surface of the design is damged; this most noticeably at the corners. There is a spot of glue on the top left hand corner. There are other small surface marks.
