Produced by a Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur and member of the Botanical Society of France.
Size: 23.5 x 31 cms or 9 x 12 inches.
Condition: Near Fine. The herbiere is, but for faint dark shadows where there has been transfer from other sheets, a short tear at one edge and a couple of dents on the surface, is in excellent condition. The cream coloured paper is only slightly browned at the edges. The large leaves are slightly cracked but complete. There are other flowers on the reverse, these picked in Morocco in 1915. The paper on this reverse side is quite browned.
A quality item; ideal for framing.
N.b. Unfortunately, because I only have the one Lègion D’Honneur label, it cannot be supplied. I can however supply a copy of it.
