Geometric and fantastic coloured stylised flower and lantern designs on a greenish grey ground.

Dated 1837. Pattern no. 4435. Probably from Paris or Lyon.

Medium: watercolour.

The design has been backed onto paper, then fixed onto an antique paper surround.

Size of design: 21.3 x 14.5 cms approx including backing paper.

Size of surround: 35.4 cms x 30.4 cms

Condition: Very Good. The surface of the design is slightly marked with very minor creasing to left edge.
