Dated 1838. Pattern no.4204. Probably from Paris or Lyon in France.

The design has been backed onto paper, then fixed onto an antique paper surround.
Size of design: 23cms x 14.5cms approx including backing paper.
Size of surround: 35.4 cms x 30.4 cms
Condition: Very Good. The surface of the design s slightly marked; there are a few spots close to the edges and very minor tear to the top right corner of border.
