Philippe Bérard worked from his studio in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. His specialised in paintings of the female form using various mediums: ink and wash, watercolour, charcoal and printing techniques. He worked with Christian Mousset to create artwork and projections for L’object De Mes Hommages, a burlesque performance art piece held in the Cafe Theatre next to The Pompidou Center. His work was sold primarily in Paris.
