A small French painting in white ‘shabby chic’ glazed frame.

I have described it as a watercolour painting but tipping it up I see a gloss on the flowers that make me think it might be an oil painting.

The flowers are very delicate in shades of white, yellow and blue on a buff coloured ground with a thin gold surround.

The image is very well mounted using cream coloured thick card. The frame would appear to have been painted/repainted white at some point since there is residue of paint on the reverse side of the frame. .

Size of the image within the mount: 15 x 10 cms or 5 3/4 x 4 inches.

Size of framed image: 21 x5.5 cms or 10 x 8 1/4 inches.
