Drawn by Riocreux and engraved by Taillant they come from Le Jardin Fruitier du Museum by Decaisne, an extensive and much sought after collection of prints detailing the fruit trees of France. Size: 31.5 x 22.5 cms or 12 1/2 x 8 3/4 inches. Ideal for framing they include the description of each fruit on a separate sheet. Condition: Near Fine. Each print is in some way marked by signs of age - small spots of foxing and browning particularly at the edges. There is a tiny scratch on the surface of one pear.
