Hand drawn and painted in Lyons, France in March the early 1900’s when the city was a center for silk manuafacture.

Size of design: 22.5 x 19.7 cms or 8 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches.
Size of surround: 36.5 x 26.3 cms or 14 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches.
Condition: Very Good. The design has been removed from its original backing and remounted on vintage paper using a very small amount of glue so it is possible it could be carefully removed if preferred. There are a few small marks and flaws across the surface that have to do with age and use - also some surface creasing; but it is in the main fresh and clean.
