Produced in Lyons, France when the city was a centre for silk manufacture.
Medium: Gouache.
Size of design: 11 x 11.8 cms or 4 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches.
Size of surround: 30.5 x 26.5 cms or 12 x 10 1/2 inches.
Condition: Very Good. The design has been removed from its original backing and remounted on antique paper using a very small amount of glue so it is possible it could be carefully removed if preferred. It is a fresh and clean.
