An hand painted antique design for a gold and diamond brooch or pendant decorated with pearls, emeralds and rubies.
Painted on a black ground with a cream surround.
Dating from the 1910s through 1920s.
Size: 23.5 x 31.5 cms or 9 1/4 x 12 1/2 inches.
Unsigned. Known to be of French origin.
Condition: Very Good. The corners of the cream coloured surround are missing and cracked. One has been reinforced with paper from the rear. The image itself is fresh and clean. The cream surround has darkened and is slightly marked.
