Shirley Curzon (nee Soar) worked as a graphic artist from the 1950s through to the 1980s. Her designs were featured in advertisements for London stores such as Jaegar, Fenwicks and Harvey Nichols. Also in advertisements for underwear.

This image is drawn in pencil and ink on very thin, almost translucent, paper. I have photographed the image on a white card ground.

Size: 38 x 50.5 cms or 15 x 20 inches.

Condition: Very Good. The surface of the paper is creased. The design remains fresh and clean.
