An original antique watercolour design for a carpet

Late 1800s.
Red green and pink on an ochre coloured ground. The bottom half of the design is marked as a grid in pencil.
Size of design: 39 x 17.7 cms or 18 1/2 x 7 inches.
Size of sheet: 31 x 49 cms 19 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches.
Condition: Very Good. The design itself is, but for some small marks, fresh and clean. The olive green surround is torn and creased at the edges with some loss at the corners. There are pin holes at the center of the top edge. Repairs have been made to tears at the edges from the reverse using,archival tape.
