With the artist’s signature at bottom right of the image and writing - possibly the name of the pose - in the top right hand corner.
Size of drawing: 24.5 x 32.5 cms or 9 3/4 x 13 inches.
Jean Target (1910-1997) was the official artist and sculptor for The Opera Garnier, Paris from 1932 to 1960. His work is included in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection.
Condition: Very Good. There is loss and damage along the top edge of the thin paper. One corner is missing. The main body of the work is clean. The paper is slightly age toned; it is darker at the edges.
