Jean Target (1910-1997) was the official artist and sculptor for The Opera Garnier, Paris from 1932 to 1960. His work is included in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection.
Condition: Near Fine. The work is undamaged. There is a faint, pale, vertical line between the dancer’s legs however. The drawing has been neatly glued onto the paper surround. The surround has some small loss at the top edge. There is a small dark mark at the bottom right hand corner of the mount.
