An Original Engraving From The ‘Nouvelle Methode Pour Apprendre a Dessiner Sans Maitre’. (A New Methode of Drawing Without a Master).
Heavy handmade paper with black and white design of a hand and feet.
French.
Size: 29 x 23 cms or 12 1/2 x 9 inches.
Date: 1740.
Condition: Very Good. The paper is slightly tanned at the edges. There is a brown mark to the left of the hands, a grey mark below the image and a slight crease to the bottom right corner. Other small marks but otherwise a clean remarkably fresh image.
An ideal piece for framing.
