An original textile design from Paris, France.

The design was probably for a silk fabric created during a period when chinoiserie was very much the fashion.

Produced around 1890.

Hand drawn and painted using gouache.

Size of design and white surround: 49 x 42 cms or 20 1/4 x 16 1/2 inches.

Condition. Very Good. The design is clean and fresh. The surround is a little worn. The edges of the paper are soft.

An excellent piece for framing.
