A chromolithogaph from La Faïence Populaire au XVIIIme Siecle by Mareschal. This book described the shapes, usage, decoration, colour and marks of this kind of ceramic.

Size: 26.7 x 17.2 cms or 6 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches.
The ornamentation of this plate is described as being cruciform on account of the decoration forming the shape of a cross. The mark is that of the decorator.
Condition: Very Good. The white part of the print’s surface has browned at the edges. There are one or two tiny marks of little significance.
A lovely piece for framing perhaps in combination with others.
