An original coloured lithograph from The Grammar of Ornament by Owen Jones (1809 - 68).
Green, red and yellow on a pale yellow ground.
The print shows the capital of columns at the temples of Luxor in Thebes, Memnomium in Thebes, the unfinished hyphaethral temple on the Island of Philae, the temple at Koom-Ombos and the temple at Edfu. The decorations represent lotus buds, papyrus buds and the full-blown papyrus

Size: 33 x 23 cms or 13 x 9 inches.
Condition : Very Good. The plate is clean and fresh. There are a few marks on the white edge of the plate. The coloured part is pristine.
