Pierre Joseph Buchoz (1731-1807) was a French physician, lawyer and passionate naturalist. He produced some of the finest illustrated works on natural history of the period.
Condition: Very Good. There is a light mark to the base of the plate at the left, a black smudge to the right of the fruit and a dark spot on the pale blue ground to the left of the fruit. There are two strips of paper fixed to the reverse side that, as far as I can tell, serve no purpose.
