The plate shows decoration from a sarcophagus in Sicily, from the Propylaea, Athens and from the coffers of the ceiling of the Propylaea; string-course over the Panathenaic Freize; painted ornament and terracotta ornament; painted ornament from the Cymatium of the raking cornice of the Partheon and various frets the traces of which exist on all temples in Athens.
Condition: Near Fine. The plate is generally clean. There is a small dark mark on the white border and a very fine blue line that passes across two of the patterns. It is a flaw of manufacture. The paper upon which the plate is printed is slightly tanned.
