Printed between 1774 and 1780.
Size: 47.5 x 29 cms or 18 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches.
The flower is a pale pink. The ground a very light blue.
Pierre Joseph Buchoz (1731-1807) was a French physician, lawyer and passionate naturalist. He produced some of the finest illustrated works on natural history of the period.
Condition: Near Fine. The plate is, but for a few marks that have to do with age, exceptionally clean. The plate number at one corner has the appearance having been written by hand. lThere are two strips of paper fixed to the reverse side that, as far as I can tell, serve no purpose.
