From a collection entitled Livre de Meubles produced in 1780.

Juste-Francois Boucher (1736-1784) was an architect, draughtsman, printmaker and etcher and engraver.

Size of whole sheet : 46 x 30.6 cms or 18.2 x 12.1 inches.

Size of engraved image: 32.6 x 20 cms or 12.7 x 7.9 inches.

Condition: Very Good. The deckle edged hand made paper is creased at one corner and slightly grubby at the edge. There are some small marks across the surface of the piece - dark dots and faint foxing - that have to do with use or age, but none of significance. Also two small holes at the top of the plate from the original binding.
