Condition: Very Good. The coloured images are clean; just lightly age toned at the edges. The black and white images are drawn on a grid. They are numbered but not numerically consistent. On the opposite page of all but the first pencilled image can be found the page upon which the text would have been written. This page is boardered with a decoration that features the animal shown in the main image. Some of the pages are loose. The pencil drawings are generally lightly marked; but in the main clean. Some drawings are annotated. The last picture shows all the animals in a decorative circle. This picture would suggest that the only image possibly missing from the book is the hedgehog.
