Pierre Joseph Buchoz (1731-1807) was a French physician, lawyer and passionate naturalist. He produced some of the finest illustrated works on natural history of the period.
Condition: Very Good. There’s a faint dark mark on the top edge and some tiny black spots across the surface of the plate. It is otherwise clean. The bottom right hand corner has been folded. There are two strips of paper fixed to the reverse side that, as far as I can tell, serve no purpose.
