Plate LXXIV show bas-reliefs from the churches of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and San Michele in Venice. Also from the school of San Marco and from the Scala dei Giganti also in Venice.
Plate LXXV shows patterns from a collection of casts from the principal cinquecento monuments of Genoa. Also patterns from the gates of the Baptistry in Florence, from the Church of Santi Giovanni and Paolo in Venice and from the hotel Bourgtheroulde in Rouen.
Plate LXXVI shows a bas-relief by Andrea Sansovino from the Church of Sta. Maria del Popolo in Rome; a bas-relief from the church of Sta. Maria dei Miracoli in Venice; a bas-relief from the Hotel Bourgtheroulde, Rouen; a bas-relief from a collection of casts in Genoa; a bas-relief from The Martinengo Tomb, Brescia and a bas-relief from the base of The Three Graces by Germain Pilon in the Louvre.
Plate LXXXI shows details from a carved wooden sideboard, wood panels, an oak back chair, carved-wood stalls, furniture, a beam, shutter panels, a boxwood comb and a chimneypiece in the Hotel Cluny. Also carved ornament and stone carving from The Louvre, a stone balustrade from The Chateau d’Anet and carving in marble from the celebrated Basin in The Fountain of The Chateau Gaillon, now in The Louvre.
Plate LXXXII shows carved ornament from furniture, a bed , a sideboard and shutters in the Hotel Cluny. All 16th Century.
Condition: Near Fine. The plates, but for occasional marks on the white border - spots of foxing and small blemishes - are exceptionally fresh and clean.
