Produced in Lyon when the city was a center for silk manuafacture.
Size of design to the left: 40.3 x 12.5 cms or 16 x 5 inches.
Size of design to the right: 43.5 x 13.5 cms or 20 1/4 x 14 1/2 inches.
Size of surround: 52 x 37 cms or 16 3/4 x 13 inches.
Condition: Very Good. The designs have been removed from their original backing and remounted on modern paper using a very small amount of double sided tape so it is possible they could be carefully removed if preferred. The surface of the designs are occasionally marked but remains, in the main, fresh and clean.
