A friendly and very pretty teaching book for children with coloured pictures on approximately every second page. Subjects covered include What Shall We Paint?, Of What Shape Is It?, What Is The Darkest Thing In The Picture?, A Little About Perspective, My Paint Box, How To Make The Orange Round, Memory Drawing and Sketching From Nature.

Condition: Very Good. The boards are faded. There is wear to the corners and to the top and bottom of the spine. Also some damage to the spine itself. The pages within are, but for some slight browning, fresh and clean. The binding remains secure. There is no jacket.

Condition: Very Good. The boards are heavily rubbed. The binding holds together well. The pages are marked by foxing and other dark marks. The edges of the pages are occasionally torn. The coloured parts of the plates remain fresh and bright.
