Produced in Lyon when the city was a center for silk manuafacture.
Size of design on left: 15.5 x 41.5 cms or 6 x 16 1/4 inches.
Size of design on left: 15.5 x 39 cms or 6 1/8 x 15 1/2 inches.
Size of surround: 41. 5 x 50 cms or 16 1/4 x 20 1/2 inches .
Condition: Very Good. The designs have been removed from their original backing and remounted on modern paper using a very small amount of sticky tape, so it is possible they could be carefully removed if preferred. The paper on which the designs are printed is occasionally marked and creased but still remains fresh and clean.
