Dating from the early part of the 20th Century they come from Lyon and Rouen.
Medium: Watercolour and drawing ink.
Size of upper image: 8.5 x 9 cms or 3 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches.
Size of lower image : 5.5 x 6 cms or 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches.
Condition: Near Fine: The designs have been removed from their original backing and remounted on antique paper using a very small amount of glue so it is possible they could be carefully removed if preferred. The glassine paper on which the upper image is painted is slightly creased. Small closed tears have been repaired from the rear using archival tape.
